Device Verification Explained

Device Verification

Device verification adds an extra layer of security by requiring confirmation when you log in from a new device.

Why Device Verification?

  • Prevents unauthorized access even if your password is compromised
  • Alerts you to login attempts from unknown devices
  • Gives you control over which devices can access your account

How It Works

  1. 1. When you log in from a new device, we send a verification code to your email
  2. 2. Enter the code to verify the device
  3. 3. Optionally, mark the device as 'trusted' for future logins

Managing Trusted Devices

Go to Settings > Security > Trusted Devices to:

  • View all devices that have accessed your account
  • Remove devices you no longer use
  • See the last login time for each device

Security Best Practice

Only mark personal devices as trusted. Avoid trusting public or shared computers.
