Device Verification
Device verification adds an extra layer of security by requiring confirmation when you log in from a new device.
Why Device Verification?
- Prevents unauthorized access even if your password is compromised
- Alerts you to login attempts from unknown devices
- Gives you control over which devices can access your account
How It Works
- 1. When you log in from a new device, we send a verification code to your email
- 2. Enter the code to verify the device
- 3. Optionally, mark the device as 'trusted' for future logins
Managing Trusted Devices
Go to Settings > Security > Trusted Devices to:
- View all devices that have accessed your account
- Remove devices you no longer use
- See the last login time for each device
Security Best Practice
Only mark personal devices as trusted. Avoid trusting public or shared computers.
