Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security to your account with 2FA.
What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication requires two forms of verification:
- 1. Something you know (password)
- 2. Something you have (phone/authenticator)
Setup Steps
- 1. Go to Settings > Security
- 2. Click Enable 2FA
- 3. Choose your method:
- Authenticator app (recommended)
- SMS verification
- 4. Scan QR code or enter key
- 5. Enter verification code
- 6. Save backup codes
Authenticator Apps
We recommend:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- Microsoft Authenticator
- 1Password
Backup Codes
Important: Save your backup codes securely. They allow access if you lose your phone.
Using 2FA
After enabling:
- 1. Enter your password
- 2. Enter the 6-digit code from your app
- 3. Code changes every 30 seconds
Lost Your Device?
Use a backup code, then:
- 1. Go to Settings > Security
- 2. Reset 2FA
- 3. Set up with new device
