Device Verification
Device verification adds security by requiring confirmation for new device logins.
How It Works
- 1. You log in from a new device
- 2. We detect it's an unrecognized device
- 3. Verification code sent to your email
- 4. Enter code to verify device
- 5. Optionally mark as trusted
Trust Settings
Trusted Device: No verification needed for future logins
Untrusted Device: Verification required each login
Managing Devices
View all devices in Settings > Security > Devices:
- Device name/type
- Last login time
- Location (approximate)
- Trust status
Removing Devices
If you see an unrecognized device:
- 1. Click Remove Device
- 2. Change your password immediately
- 3. Enable 2FA if not active
- 4. Contact support if concerned
Best Practices
- Only trust personal devices
- Regularly review device list
- Remove old/unused devices
- Never trust public computers
